Growtect is operated by Seyed Banifatemi, a Mutual Fund Representative with WFG Securities Inc. and an Insurance Agent with World Financial Group Insurance Agency of Canada Inc. This page explains what happens to the personal information you choose to share through growtect.ca.

What this website collects

growtect.ca is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no advertising or analytics scripts, and does not build a profile of your visit. The only information it handles is what you type into the consultation form:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you provide one
• Your preferred contact method
• Anything you write in the message field

Standard web server logs kept by our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) may record your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and available.

How the information is used

Form submissions are used for a single purpose: to contact you about the consultation you requested, using the method you selected. Your details are not sold, rented, or traded, and you will not be added to a marketing list without asking for it.

If you go on to become a client, any information gathered as part of that relationship is handled under the privacy policies of the companies through which the products are placed — World Financial Group Insurance Agency of Canada Inc. for insurance and segregated funds, and WFG Securities Inc. for mutual funds — together with the applicable insurers and fund companies.

How it is stored and shared

Consultation requests arrive by email and are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and to meet record-keeping obligations that apply to licensed insurance and mutual fund representatives. Information is shared with third parties only when it is necessary to provide a service you asked for, or when required by law or by a regulator.

Your choices

You may ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction, or ask that it be deleted where there is no legal requirement to keep it. You may also withdraw consent to further contact at any time. Write to info@growtect.ca and we will respond promptly.

Canadian privacy law is set out in the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the equivalent provincial statutes. If you are not satisfied with how a concern has been handled, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

This site links to third-party websites, including social media profiles and the websites of World Financial Group companies. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.
